I'm using the Shadowscapes Tarot for this week's reading, which uses a very fairy-heavy imagery to convey its correspondences. I've also done May's monthly reading with this deck, so you can see it in a larger spread format tomorrow when that post goes up.
This week's cards are:
- Seven of Wands (reversed)
- Eight of Pentacles
- Ten of Cups
A bit of conflict, especially at the beginning of this week, will set you on a path toward determined productivity. The end of the week has you finding emotional fulfillment in what you've accomplished, as long as you don't let the bad start get you down.
The Seven of Wands reversed tells me that you'll find yourself in a position of conflict where you'll fail at defending yourself. You'll admit defeat, whether you want to or not, which sets a sullen tone for the end of April going into May. The badger is (quite literally) badgering the family of foxes, and you, as the fox, aren't feeling up to the task of fighting off who or whatever is that badger.
Mid-week, however, the Eight of Pentacles shows the spider weaving a collection of lights into her web. She spins her silk around them, illuminating the sky for the fairy embedded in the tree branch. Don't let the badger stop you from working hard on your passions or your work. You still have much to accomplish.
The end of the week is the Ten of Cups, a gently jubilant card depicting two people intertwined, a show of passion and emotional connection. This doesn't have to be with another person; it could be with whatever work it is you're putting yourself into this week. Whatever you're "partnering" with this week, it will bring you a sense of deserved peace.
This is what the 3-card readings look like when you order one, with a photograph and simple analysis. If you liked this reading, if it helped you this week, or if it was just plain off, let me know in the comments!
